Kitesurfing courses in Hunstanton, Norfolk. This one day course that is very informative. It involves learning about different types of kites and associated equipment, whilst also addressing safety issues before starting out on a trainer kite. Whilst piloting the trainer kite you will learn the theory of the wind window. The wind window is the theoretical explanation for the way the kite flies to create its power.

All of our kitesurfing courses in Hunstanton, Norfolk benefit from the variety of different beaches, this allows us to maximise the usage of the wind ensuring you that you achieve the most from your lesson.

During your kitesurfing course at Hunstanton you will learn how to set up a kite, before getting kitted up and heading onto the water, taking the skills you have learnt from the land into water. When in the water you will learn the art of bodydragging, safe flying techniques, and what to do if everything goes wrong (safety pack down). This course will ensure you fully understand how to fly and control a kite safely. You will become certified to BKSA level 1.

Level 1 – Introduction to Kite Flying – 1 Day

Part 1 - Basic kite handling
Part 2 - Water based flying
Part 3 - Bring on the power and basic body dragging
Part 4 - Directional and upwind body dragging, going the right way. Balance dragging

*Please note.  This is a rough guide. Everyone learns at different speeds so you may not learn all of the course content in one day.  Our instructors will determine whether they feel you are competent in what you have learnt so far before you can progress to the next stage.
