The 50Fifty is a wakestyle-inspired, aggressive freestyle board designed especially for all the new school enthusiasts. Mike “The Knife” Blomvall's signature model is a weapon of choice for those who desire spectacular POP, super smooth landings and tons of control.

For 2012 we coupled the 3D Construction with Pre-Stress technology, to provide limitless pop for unbelievable jumps and tech tricks, whilst the board is still super comfortable on landings and very precise. No wonder it was voted Best twin tip of the year.

Prestressing means the intentional creation of initial tension in a structure for the purpose of improving its strength properties.

The concept of pre-stressed structure is widely employed in the design of buildings, underground structures, TV towers, power stations, floating storage and offshore facilities, nuclear reactor vessels, and numerous kinds of bridge systems.

The idea of prestressing was, apparently, familiar to the ancient Rome architects; the tall attic wall of the Colosseum works as a stabilizing device for the wall piers beneath.*

In kiteboarding, pre-stress allows the board to be loaded with energy during production. Storing the energy inside the board makes it a bit more stiff and much more torsion resistant, which results in astonishing POP. Pre-Stress technology also allows us to build thinner and lighter boards, yet still more durable.

Unlike many others, our kiteboard grab handle is soft and flexible. In case of crash, the possibility of injury caused by a grab handle is reduced to a minimum.

In case of an accident on the water, KISS fulcrum can be easily disassembled and put together with just one hand. All Nobile kites feature 100% depower, and can be easily relaunched from the water. After an accident you do not need to take your kite back to the shore.

In extreme situations, all Nobile kites can be landed by rider, without a help of another person.

Our footpads for 2012 feature unique air chambers, designed to take most of the impact during the landings. This shock-absorber helps to protect your knees and spine, so your ride is now safer and more comfortable.

Footpads are packed in a bag designed to hold down your kite when landed. Just fill it in with sand and put on the kite.

KISS bar offers directional color coded graphics, double finger bumpers, multiple width connection possibilities, and color coded laminar rubber protections in the inside of the bar ends.

The polished full piece alloy central core remains for strength and for depower line durability: it features no sharp edges so the rope is safe and won't damage or scratch.

The big hole for the safety line (Φ = 9mm) in the middle axis of the C-loop secures smooth and trouble-free action of the safety line even if sand gets inside.
