Welcome to Hunstanton Watersports School

We are a watersports centre that offers a wide range of courses and activities for a variety of ages and abilities. We are based in a fantastic location on the Norfolk coastline which boosts shallow waters and wide open beaches.  During your course with Hunstanton Watersports we provide all the necessary equipment along with showers/changing room facilities and beachfront parking.

We are fully approved with the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and British Kitesurfing Association (BKSA) governing bodies we also hold council licenses for our teaching locations along with public liability insurance.  All our instructors are fully qualified with a number of years experience within the industry. 
 

Land Based Courses

Powerkiting
This is a three hour introduction into powerkiting.
Powerkiting is an exhilarating, exciting up and coming sport. Powerkiting is the back bone of any kite related sport; the skills you need for powerkiting are the exact skills you need to progress onto kite landboarding, bugging or even kitesurfing.

Landboarding
Hunstanton offers great wide open beaches with hard sand which is great for landboarding. With landboarding you need to be able to fly powerkites at a reasonably level so we start at the very basics of introducing a variety of powerkites and run you through the kite set up. There is an element of theory involved in the course, including how the kite fly’s, outlining the windwindow and knowing the different zones etc. 

Watersports Courses

Kitesurfing
Learn to kitesurf at one of the best locations in the country, whether you fancy an insight into kitesurfing or one of our certified 1, 2 or a full 3 day kitesurfing course to set you on your kitesurfing career we offer the whole package.

Windsurfing
Hunstanton Windsurf School boosts an ideal location for learning to windsurf with the shallow water and calm conditions the environment could not be any better suited for windsurfing lessons. We offer half day taster sessions on RYA two day start windsurfing courses.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding
Learn to Stand up and Paddle Board (SUP) with Hunstanton Watersports in Norfolk. We now offer Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) courses and sessions from beginner to intermediate on the Norfolk coast. All our courses cater for a range of ages and abilities. We provide all the necessary equipment and safety wear including buoyancy aids, wetsuits, SUP boards etc
